I sat on this idea forever
and then I finally drew it. I really didn't concentrate hard enough on the part I really was excited about challenging myself on though. I wanted to do a better job of composing the animal heads and using good hierarchy, but I got lazy and kinda just drew them there.

Excellent background. I love it. It reminds me of old times cartoons. Also the characters, although it might be hard to come up with something new. I need to practice a lot. I'm thinking of drawing more and more backgrounds, to practice and amuse myself. Cheers!
Amazing Art, Anne! The animal head room is spectacular and a great throwback to a Chuck Jones cartoon. Also, I love the pose on the blue dress lady with her fist and boobs in the air.

I've checked out your blog before, but I've never really commented because these drawings are so well-done, that it puts all of my stuff to shame. Great work and keep it up! Very inspiring stuff to a young cartoonist like me.

Kristen-I'll start drawing again when the full time season at work ends sometime next month, till then it's just 70 hour workweeks. Thanks though, you guys all keep me motivated.
